A Culinary Delight: Romantic Cooking Experience at Amora Ubud

On April 18, 2024, Amora Ubud, renowned for its commitment to providing unique and enriching experiences, hosted a romantic cooking lesson for guests. This culinary adventure offered participants the opportunity to delve into the vibrant flavors and rich heritage of Balinese cuisine, creating unforgettable memories amidst the serene surroundings of Ubud.

The cooking experience at Amora Ubud was a celebration of Balinese culinary traditions, featuring a diverse range of dishes representing the island’s gastronomic diversity. Participants embarked on a journey of culinary discovery, exploring the nuances of Balinese home cooking under the guidance of experienced chefs.

The menu showcased a variety of dishes, including Lawar, Satay, Sambal, and other Balinese specialties. While these dishes are readily available in exclusive restaurants, cafes, and local warungs across Bali, the cooking experience offered guests the opportunity to learn the art of preparing them from scratch.

Participants immersed themselves in the culinary process, from selecting fresh ingredients at a traditional market to mastering traditional cooking techniques using Balinese kitchen essentials such as the ulekan (traditional blender). Under the expert guidance of the chefs, guests learned to prepare signature Balinese dishes, including sambal, sambal kacang, and basic genep seasoning.

Guests raved about the romantic cooking experience, describing it as a culinary journey like no other. The hands-on nature of the cooking lesson allowed participants to deepen their understanding of Balinese cuisine while honing their culinary skills.

He currently put his hands in depth not only on large scale of Architecture-Hospitality projects but also focusing on down to earth development without compromising the creativity and quality of the work. On his pathway and work collaborations with some world- known designer resulting some recognizable international awards.

His long journey in architecture and living in Bali, which is known as a world tourist island, strengthens his way of thinking that an architecture does not start and end only as something beautiful but is a unity born of art, culture, and nature where the design stands to a totally unique experience and sustain on everything that comes into contact with it.
